Two young musicians premiere a new song “Ti Sevdas to Giatrikon” (Love’s Medicine). Alexandros Akritidis is from Mesovouno, and Triantafyllos Taratsidis is from Komnina, both villages of Eordea, Ptolemaida, Greece. Both hail from musical families and continue in the footsteps of their ancestors.
The lyrics and music are by Theocharis Akritidis, the father of Alexandros, who has been dutifully performing Pontian music and song for years. Lakis Panagiotidis played keyboards, guitar and bass, and is also responsible for recording, mixing and mastering the song (LPStudioRec). Polis Stamatidis played percussion and Theocharis Akritidis added vocals. Christos Akritidis edited the lyrics.
We wish Alexandros and Triantafyllos always success! May their song become very popular and to lead them to new recordings in the near future! Our congratulations!
